SC3501
Staccato delivers a broad portfolio of single-chip, all-CMOS solutions for Certified Wireless USB from the USB-IF as well as other WiMedia-based Ultra-Wideband (UWB) applications. Operating in the 3.1-4.8 GHz spectrum, the SC3501 integrates the MAC, Baseband, and RF providing a complete single-chip solution for native Wireless USB or Streaming Services applications interfacing to an application processor via USB. Implemented in a leading 110nm CMOS process technology, the SC3501 supports all mandatory and optional Certified Wireless USB data rate modes (from 53.3 Mbps to 480 Mbps), and all data communication is supported over a secure wireless link using 128-bit AES hardware encryption. The small form factor SOC design minimizes design risk, lowers cost and accelerates time-to-market. Staccato offers the SC3501 in as a single-chip WCSP IC.
