Ripcord1™ Single-Chip ICs
The Ripcord1™ product family are single-chip 110nm all-CMOS ICs based upon the WiMedia and Certified Wireless USB specifications. The highly integrated silicon includes RF, digital baseband, MAC, memory, processor, I/O and 128-bit AES encryption engine. The various supported IO are USB 2.0 host, USB 2.0 device and SDIO 1.1 device.
SC3501: for Native USB Solutions with an integrated USB 2.0 device interface for direct connection to a system ASIC or SOC through USB.
SC3502: for Device Wire Adapters offers an easy upgrade path to Certified Wireless USB for existing wired USB peripherals using the USB 2.0 host interface
SC3503: for Native SDIO Solutions intended for embedded applications interfacing directly to the system ASIC or SOC through SDIO.
Ripcord1 is not recommended for new designs. Please refer to Ripcord2 for new products.
