The Ripcord Control Library (RCL-WUSB) implements high-level application programming interfaces to Staccato's Ripcord ICs for optimized embedded Wireless USB device. For high volume devices, this is an ideal solution as it reduces BOM, optimizes performance and provides opportunities for additional added value features. The library resides on the application host processor and is operating system agnostic to enable easy porting to a variety of embedded systems. RCL manages protocol and transport complexity and is provided as ANSI C source code that abstracts the host interfaces via a series of wrappers. RCL interfaces to a Ripcord IC via either USB or SDIO interfaces.
