A-Series ICs
On November 20, 2008 Staccato Communications and Artimi announced a merger between the two companies. The combination of the two companies provides a broad portfolio of best-in-class UWB solutions to service the PC, PC peripheral, consumer electronic and mobile handset markets.
A-10
Designed specifically for use with the A-150 and A-180 MAC ICs, the A-10 provides a complete RF front end and Baseband operating in WiMedia Band Group 1. Implemented in 0.13mm CMOS process technology, the A-10 supports all mandatory and optional data rate modes (from 53.3 Mbps to 480 Mbps) and all data communication is supported over a secure wireless link using 128-bit AES encryption. The small form factor minimizes design risk, lowers cost and accelerates time-to-market. The A-10 comes in a 7mm x 7mm QFN package.

A-150
The A-150 provides a WiMedia MAC controller, applications processor and flexible parallel memory bus interfaces. When used with the A-10, the A-150 provides a complete, adaptable WiMedia platform operating in Band Group 1 with support for all mandatory and optional data rate modes (from 53.3 Mbps to 480 Mbps). All data communication is supported over a secure wireless link using 128-bit AES encryption. The small form factor of the A-150 minimizes design risk, lowers cost and accelerates time-to-market. The A-150 comes in a 10mm x 10mm LBGA package.

A-200
Operating in WiMedia Band Groups 1, 3 and 6, the A-200 integrates the RF front end, digital Baseband, MAC, USB 2.0 (simultaneous host and device) and SDIO 2.0 interfaces providing a complete single chip solution. Implemented as a SiP using 0.18mm SiGe (RF) and 0.13mm CMOS (digital) process technologies, giving highly efficient size and power, the A-200 supports all mandatory and optional data rate modes (from 53.3 Mbps to 480 Mbps) and all data communication is supported over a secure wireless link using 128-bit AES hardware encryption. The small form factor of the A-200 minimizes design risk, lowers cost and accelerates time-to-market. The A-200 comes in a single chip (SiP) 10mm x 14mm BGA package.
