Health Care Benefits

Staccato provides comprehensive health care coverage for employees and dependents and affords employees the option of choosing from PPO, PPO w/ HSA or HMO medical plans through Health Net.

Dental Benefits

Staccato’s dental plan is provided by Principal Financial Group and includes preventive dental services and orthodontia services for both adults and children.

Vision Care Benefits

Staccato’s benefits include comprehensive vision coverage provided through Vision Service Plan (VSP), the nation's largest provider of eye care coverage. VSP coverage helps pay for eye examinations, lenses and frames.

Survivor’s Benefit

Staccato pays for Group Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance coverage. You also have the option to purchase additional insurance and life insurance for your spouse and/or children.

Disability Programs

Staccato Communications offers Long Term Disability insurance benefits through Principal Financial Group that will cover 66.67% of the employee’s salary after 90 days of disability.  The maximum monthly benefit is $10,000.  This benefit is available at no cost to employees. Flexible Spending Accounts

Staccato offers employees a Flexible Spending Plan through IGOE & Company. This program allows you to apply pre-tax dollars to a Health Spending Account (up to $5000 per year) or Dependent Care Spending Account (up to $5000 per year).  These pre-tax dollars can then be used to cover deductibles, co-pays, over-the-counter medications or childcare expenses.  This is a voluntary plan; please see the enrollment materials for more details.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan

Staccato Communications is pleased to offer a 401(k) retirement savings plan that allows employees to contribute to retirement savings on a pre-tax basis through payroll deductions.  Utilizing this plan, employees can redirect up to the federal maximum per year to investment options through Great West Financial.  All 401(k) retirement savings are 100% employee-funded and vest immediately. Employees may enroll or make changes to their elections the first of any month.

Employee Stock Option Plan

Staccato employees have the opportunity to participate in the company sponsored incentive stock option plan which provides a means for employees to share in the company’s success.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Employees are able to utilize the services of an Employee Assistance Program through Principal Financial Group. This program offers employees 24/7 crisis counseling assistance, in addition to legal service, financial service and a dependent care referral service. This program, provided by Staccato Communications, is available at no cost to employees.

Paid Time Off

Staccato full-time and part-time employees accrue Paid Time Off based on hours worked. In the first two years of employment, employees accrue 15 days per year. Beginning in year three, employees will accrue 20 days per year. Beginning in year six, employees will accrue 25 days of PTO each year.

Employee Referral Program

Employees can receive cash bonus awards by connecting talent to Staccato Communications through our Employee Referral Program. Eligible Staccato employees who refer qualified candidates may receive a referral bonus if their candidates are hired by Staccato.

Patent Incentive Program

Intellectual property and proprietary know-how are a critical element for the success of Staccato; employees are encouraged and financially rewarded for filing patent disclosures, according to the company’s patent policy.

Paycheck Direct Deposit

Employees can designate checking accounts and/or savings account for direct deposit of paychecks.
